TALLINN, Jun 17, BNS – The supervisory board of Eesti Energia approved an investment decision on Thursday according to which the Estonian state-owned power group will set up a 39 megawatt wind park on a former ash field near Narva at a cost of 900 million kroons (EUR 57.5 mln). Read more »

It expects 10 gigawatt (GW) of new wind power capacity to be installed in the EU during 2010, taking total installed capacity by the end of 2010 to almost 85 GW – an increase of 13%. Read more »
