Global Wind Day is celebrated

Today, on the 15th of June 210 events in 26 countries take place to celebrate Global Wind Day. In Estonia winners of the “Future Wind Turbine” contest will be announced and the exhibition with all the contest entries will be opened.
The event will take place in Little Paris caffee situated in the tunnel of Vabaduse square where members of jury will comment the contest entries and announce the winners. Winner of the youth category will win a trip to WinWind’s factory in Finland together with a visit to a wind park. The winner of main category will win a free usage of Toyota Prius for one month. In addition Eesti Energia will provide participants a free trip to the biggest wind park in the Baltics – Aulepa wind park.
