Five companies applying for permit to construct wind turbine fields on the sea

Five companies have submitted petitions to the Ministry of Economic Affairs for constructing wind turbine fields on the open sea. Eesti Energia, Neugrund, Nelja Energia and Raunistal are planning to build such open sea wind turbine parks. The Port of Tallinn is also applying for a building permit, however is doing so in the name of Energiasalv, which is developing a project for an underground pump hydroelectric station in the seabed on Port of Muuga territory.
