Second Nelja Energia wind farm launched at seacoast

On Tuesday, Estonian company Nelja Energia said it has started running its second wind farm of 12 megawatts capacity in Lithuania at the end of the last week. Six wind turbines in the territory of Silute Municipality which cost EUR 22.5 million will produce 38,205 MWh of electricity. The new wind farm near the Mockiai village belongs to Nelja Energia and its long-term investors – Estonian Freenergy and Norwegian Vardar Eurus whose investment in the Baltic countries are already exceeding EUR 200 million. Nelja Energia owns all wind farms that belong to Vardar Eurus and Freenergy in the Baltic countries.
