The European Parliament renewed for four years the membership mandate of Estonian Rene Tammist in the administrative board of the European Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER).
The agency was founded in 2011 and its goal is to support the efficient operation of Europe’s domestic markets of electricity and natural gas. The administrative board will gather for regular sittings at least twice a year.
Tammist will also continue his work as head of the Estonian Renewable Energy Association.
